Suzette Carty LeSane

Suzette Carty LeSane is a Strategy and Innovation executive with
25 years of proven experience in launching innovative solutions, managing P&L, and delivering measurable results. Suzette is skilled in the management of large strategic enterprise initiatives, deal negotiations, and client advisory board programs. Suzette’s diverse industry experiences include real estate, housing, financial services, insurance and manufacturing.

 

In 2016, Suzette launched ConnectedSphere Speaker Management Agency, a boutique firm located in Atlanta, Georgia. As the Founder and CEO of
ConnectedSphere, Suzette specializes in helping speakers establish themselves and linking speakers with national and international organizations and exclusively focuses on issues impacting women and girls.

 

Suzette also currently serves as Vice President, Product Management Executive with Assurant. In her role she is responsible for the innovation and growth of the Multifamily Renters Insurance products which represent a $480M portfolio. Since joining Assurant in 2017, Suzette has been influential in expanding the portfolio of solutions. In her role, Suzette is the first African American woman to serve as Vice President for the Multifamily business and is one of only 2 African American women in the company’s Assurant Leadership Team which is comprised of the top 100 within the enterprise.


Prior to Assurant, Suzette served as the first African American woman and Vice President with CoreLogic, leading the company’s Multifamily division in transforming the product suite. During her tenure with CoreLogic, Suzette introduced the industry’s first integrated fraud solution and several pivotal products. Suzette also served as the first African American and second woman Vice President of New Product Innovation for Equifax, leading the development of new solutions to drive growth for utilities, mortgage, banking and consumer markets.


As a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Suzette serves as the Anti-
Basileus of the Tau Epsilon Omega chapter and Vice-President of The Twenty
Pearls Foundation. Suzette was initiated 24 years ago into the Beta Alpha Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority on the campus of Florida A&M University in 1997. During her 24 years, Suzette has served as Chairmen for Fundraising, Standards, Protocol, Programs (Vice Chairman), Fundraising Decorating Chairmen, Metro Atlanta Founders Day Representative and led various targets sub-committees. Suzette has served on several committees such as Budget & Finance, Nominating Committee, Standards, Tellers, Fundraising and Graduate Advisory Council.

 

Suzette currently serves on the board of directors of Synchronicity Theater and has been responsible for developing the local partnership with the theater and her chapter. Suzette holds a Master of Business Administration from The University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, NC with a specialization in Finance, Mergers & Acquisitions and Strategy.

 

Suzette she holds an undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Florida A&M University in Tallahassee, FL. Suzette enjoys spending time with her family, daughter and friends. Suzette enjoys attending art events, concerts, traveling and volunteering in the community and has resided in Atlanta, Georgia for the past 18 years.
